  1. Hi Jim! I’m enjoying all the pictures. I can’t imagine marching with all that “stuff”. You will be superman by the time you are finished. Lori will love all those muscles when you get back.

I feel so friviolus telling you things going on here while you are going through so much. The kids have all been home a couple of weeks apart. Heather and her family came first for a week. The boys were ready to go home (8&9 yrs.) at the end of the week. No friends to play with, and their bikes were at home. It was wonderful for us though.

Then Hunter and his 1 yr. old Greyson, came after that. We hadn’t seen Greyson since he started walking. He was soooooo cute (Grandma talking)! Kind of shy though. He wasn’t too sure about Grandma wanting to hug him all the time.ha

Rusty has been working around the house, and outside. He is really a handyman fixing things. He gets in a little golf once in a while too.

    I’m still praying! Love, Trula

  2. Greetings!

Have been praying for you daily and will continue to do so! Had a delegation of 9 from Brazil here at work all last week and the meetings went very well. The purpose was to continue the development of air traffic flow management (ATFM) in the Western Hemisphere. Made good headway during the week. In town next week and then on travel to South America for continued ATFM work. Would appreciate your prayers for safety in travel and wisdom in the work! Will keep you posted. IHS – Joe

  3. Am continuing my daily prayers for you, and for His angles to stand guard round about you, and protect you. Also am praying for Lori, and the children that everything will run smoothly for them, and they will be protected. It sounds like Lori has a great support group which should help make things a little easier for her, and put your mind at rest too.

I keep thinking how greatful I am for you, and all the other soldiers who are over there fighting for us. What a wonderful thing for them, and you, to serve the country by putting yourselves in harms way. I hope all of you can feel support from us at home.

    Love, Trudy

  4. Your pictures are amazing!! Everything looks so foreign, like something I would see in National Geographic, and here you are living there. Thank you so much for the pictures. It makes things more real for me to actually see where you are.

Do you worry about danger, or are you so busy you don’t have time to think? Have you had much contact with the everyday people there, and if so, what is your impression of them. Are they glad we are there, or do they seem indefferent to us?

Evey thought you are far away in miles, you are in our thoughts, and prayers (daily). I admire what you are doing. Your attitude is so good; not complaining, or feeling sorry for yourself. You are a great wittness!!

May the Lord continue blessing you in all you do. Love, Trula
